My heart beat so fast in this episode. It escalated so quickly. One of the best episodes. I can't even predict what's going to happen now. The ending song has definitely foreshadowed the things in this episode, with all the rest going Yudias' direction except Yuga, Yuamu, and Zwijo and his company.

Blocking all the haters as usual.

For real these episodes were intense. One side wants to protect the future, the other wants to protect the present. Not to mention it’s a three-parter duel! We haven’t had one in a long time. I simply can’t wait for next week.

Part of the intensity is with the battle that is not a duel as well. The Rush Duel Robot smacking Yuga's spaceship cannon about to fire at it? In the middle of a duel as well? Yeah, we don't get that very often.

This is already ridiculous! Haven't they ever heard that 'you can't interfere in another's duel' - I mean, it used to be a courtesy, but now it seems to fly off the window with new generations! So frustrating!

Yuuhi defeating Yuuga would have made more sense, but then Yuamu had to interfere...

I was hoping Yuuhi would get back at Yuamu for beating him a while back, but I guess their rematch will never happen.

And now its Yuudias vs Yuamu?!? How does this help? I mean Yuudias is MC, but still, how could it reach this point??? Nothing makes sense at this point!

I do not buy this shit at all. FINALLY they find something to do with Yuamu's wasted character and it is siding with Yuga ? Screw her reasoning, she is quite literally KILLING YUDIAS by doing this shit. I am not saying they should abandon Yuga or whatever children in the future or anything but they can always find a way to solve that AFTER they revive the Velgearians just like how finding a way to revive Velgearians seemed impossible but now they found a way. It is YUGA'S FAULT for turning everyone in that era his enemy by choosing to act alone and trying to prevent an entire race's life from being restored to prevent a future that is not even set in stone yet instead of seeking the help of all these people in Go rush.

Yuga is only alone because he actively CHOOSES to be alone and he did that even before this conflict. It is him that refuses to stick around and always act alone. If he had came to them and explained everything from the beginning they could have tried to find a way but he did NOT. He is solely responsible for being alone and yet Yuamu is fighting for him and actively endangers Yudias's life for this ? How can i take this conflict seriously when this stupid girl is literally killing one of her closest friends to prevent a future that NONE OF THEM can guarantee will happen ? NOT TO MENTION we ALREADY SAW IN SEVENS that Monster Reborn's memory erasure CAN be countered or restored. All Yuga had to do was to tell them to wait and work together with them to find ways to make Monster reborn's usage safe but NO we have to have this utter meaningless conflict that is literally endangering Yudias's life because for some reason Monster reborn is now treated as absolute as if all people did not get their memories back in Sevens.

Also does it ever hit Yuga that if he changes the future to not have Rush duels get overwritten by Goha duels then HIS FUTURE WILL BE NO MORE ? If he succeeds then Rush duels will remain and this can seriously effect the future and perhaps can even ERASE Gakuto, Romin or Luke from existence entirely for all we know. Is that what he wants ? Also if someone is gonna fight for Yuga wouldn't Yuuna be a much more logical choice ? It completely fits her character to choose Yuga over Yudias. I know this retains the fact that Yuamu's character remains wasted but perhaps YUAMU could take over for Yuuhi and duel Yuuna before passing it to Yudias ? Yuamu taking the side of Yuga and thus basically trying to have Yudias die and for all his race to stay dead is NOT a positive character development for her in my opinion

And most likely it ends in a draw Yuga goes back to his era and somehow Yudias's race is revived but something happens for the said memory race.
Cause most likely Yuuhi is gonna become Yuna's love interest and set things in motion where the future Goha siblings on from his side and Yuamu is gonna be Yuga's ancestor.
At least that's my theory since much was revealed last ep.

But yeah Yuamu and Yuga's characters are getting more wasted development.

Honestly i can't even decide if Yuga returning to his era now would be anticlimactic as hell with how little he did in the show or if i want him out so i won't have to see him dipping out every arc again. I guess second option is fine if that means that clown Otes will never appear in the show as well but if he is then Yuga should stay so at least Otes' pitiful existence can have a meaning to be in the show

I'm kind of sick of their repeated mantra that "it left the kids hands". They fucking learn to get better, because they don't stay kids forever. It almost has the kind of energy of a mad scientist holding the Master Duel devs hostage unless they make N/R a permanent game mode (which i'm ok with but not in a terrorist like manner). I really hate this idea that Rush duels can't have SOME complexity otherwise 5 year olds won't get it. You can't keep lowering the bar Konami; you have to set a minimum precedence for how intelligent a duelist has to be and that's not limited by age. It's limited by determination.

that being said, if it had gotten like TCG & OCG irl has gotten, i can see the problem with kids not getting into it. hell, even older yugioh players that haven't played for years have a hard time getting back into it with how convoluted its gotten.

if Yuga only had to do was talk with them and work together then who would have been the villain for this end of the season? if you didn't notice every arc had a villain or close to a villain vibe. And since this is the end of the season we can't just throw a villain/threat out of nowhere, because if it was this I can also see you whining and complaining about it.
Like Yuamu said Yuga already gave up on returning home and his friends for the sake of the children of the future. There are still a lot of things we don't know, until now we only saw what monster reborn can do a small scale, if they use monster reborn to revive millions of lifes that also could cause a problem on the entire planet. Like there are on other anime/shows if you want to bring someone back to life you need to be ready to pay some sacrifices

There doesn't need to be a villain just like how there is no need for every arc to only be 13 episodes, these are things they force themselves to AND on top of it i do not accept ''there was a need for villain so we forced a nonsense situation to make the villain''. Poor writing cannot be excused like that

And i already answered that. Not only Children not having rush duels in the future is NOT an equal exchange with the lives of BILLIONS of lives in the slightest but also there is no guarantee that stopping the Velgearians from reviving is the only way to save those kids. Yuga is making an entire race remain extinct and for Yudias to die for a future that has not even came to pass yet. He can always allow the Velgeraians to revive and THEN think about the future later, ANY other protagonist would have done that

i am with you on the fact 13 episode arc is a bad idea it forces so many things to happen and it looks bad, but for me idk why i didn't felt anything for the thing Velgearians were going to die and as well seeing all the characters trying anything to stop that, and maybe that is why, for me, i don't care that much, i am not emotionless i can drop tiers when a very well sad scene happens.
Also everyone has their goals in life, for me if i would get a chance to get my ultimate goal, what i would want the most, IF I CAN and as long i don't do something criminal/bad, i will push threw everyone and anything to get that goal i don't care who they are

I wonder what the decision making process was to make Monster Reborn, of all cards, a forbidden, doomy dangerous Spell Card of Doom.

I also wonder how Yuga would react if he got transported to the world of the original Yu-Gi-Oh or GX, where Monster Reborn is used all the time.

When you broke the mold and made too many main characters and they all need screentime in the finale.

I am taking no one's side and just going to say that the writers didn't think clearly on building up this climax.
My real reason for commenting is to ask if the spoilers for the next season of Go Rush includes any characters not near the space hole because if there are not and the episode summaries aren't there, could we be facing this cast being flung into a different time for the next arc?

Again why is monster reborn a normal spell card that revives monster from either gy now for some dumb reason they put it as a card that affect memories I mean duelist like yugi have no problem. It feels as though the card is not the problem but rather something like a code like monster reborn is played a memory wiped weapon like is used. Regardless there's no more duals after this season cause Konami had stated that next season it'll be a lore for some cards like from blue eyes white dragon to exodia to albaz in other words the new yugioh anime is based on lores

lol that lore anime is something completely separate by a separate animation studio (konami's own) This will be getting a Season 3
as for monster reborn well that is the lore set up in Sevens the one before this series

theres not really a lore issue here as theres not 1 universe to begin with.
the first anime universe is the old toei anime that was adapted from the first 59 chapters of the manga.
the second anime universe is DM, GX & 5ds, the 3 of which take place in the same universe at different points times.
the third anime universe is the one Zexal takes place in.
the fourth anime universe is what Arc-V started off as before splitting into the standard, fusion, XYZ & synchro dimensions
the fifth anime universe is Vrains, also the only one that never dipped into anything supernatural as it was pure sci-fi
the sixth & current anime universe is SEVENS and Go Rush
and this isn't even getting into the game and manga universes or card story universes....
anyway, Monster Reborn works differently in SEVENS/Go Rush for the same reason why Super Polymerization isn't anywhere near as powerful in Arc-V; its composition is different. the Super Polymerization in GX was made by sacrificing various lives and feeding it negative emotions.
so while the super poly judai has at the end of GX is capable of fusing dimensions and fusing people with duel spirits, the ones that yuri(Arc-V) & fusion mask(D Team Zexal manga) have are just regular cards.
while wolf(Zexal) was never shown to use his, it most likely works like a regular card as well.
